This bag has everything. Holds all the discs. Doesn’t fall over. Has space for everything
It’s my 2nd Rebel and I love it! The zipper on my 4 yr old DGPT Rebel got fowled up so it can only be zipped halfway but it’s still going strong. I just wanted one that can be fully zipped when traveling. I bought a Squatch Link to try out until the new batch of Rebels came in. Used it for a couple months and it’s an excellent bag, premium quality, lots of storage, plush shoulder straps and comfortable but, IMO, it falls short of the Rebel in a couple areas:
Weight and overall comfort the Rebel wins.
Stability; the Link was significantly more prone to tipping over when placed on slopes.
When wearing the bag and bending over, discs in the putter pockets would occasionally fall out.
The one minor gripe about the Rebel is the tendency to hit tall water bottles with your elbow when putting on the bag
I've been using the Shift bag. Now that winter is coming I really wanted some extra storage for not only more discs but extra winter gear. This bag feels the same on my back (which is super comfy) and holds the extra stuff. Absolutely love it.
I have been rocking the Fossa Skinny the last several years. It has a similar build without all the extra storage and comfort. The Upper Park Rebel takes it to a new level in comfort and function. I can’t wait to see how the bag breaks in. It’s already exceeded many of my expectations.
In the top pockets I have 2 PA-3’s, the lower pocket has my A2, Proxy, and Slammer. They all seem to fit well. In the bottom I have a putter, 2 approach discs, 4 mids, 7 fairways, and 4 distance drivers. 23 discs is just about right but if I wanted to I could fit a couple in each of the side pockets.
Overall, a great bag that I will use for the next several years.
This bag has everything I need. It’s spacious, with room for all my discs, 1L Nalgene water bottle, snacks, and speaker. The top-notch design holds discs exceptionally well when picking up and setting down the bag. Plus, the bag has great structural support and doesn't collapse when setting it down. It’s super functional with well-organized pockets and a padded back, making it comfortable to carry, even on long rounds. It’s perfect for any disc golf enthusiast! I'd highly recommend it!
